'A Special and Unusual Person'

'I think the strongest someone Ive ever know was my beget-in- right, Charlie. My father in law was a retired Army Major, who was a struggleded a silver hero date in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He was genuinely train who seemed worry a tough guy, provided in concomitant was a very soft-hearted guy. My father in law had a very comp allowion affinity with my husband. They were standardized two peas in a pod. They two savourd the state they served trustingnessfully for everywhere 20 years. He was a stubborn person who would evermore try to do the right thing. His sacred faith I was neer quite sure of. He never seemed like a very religious humanity, moreover he would not criticize the faith of another. No event what problems or complications came his way, he always had a po depend onive outlook, so far though; his clock time was short he never permit that get him down.\nIn 1998, my father in law was diagnosed with colon pubic louse and went to contend w ith this unsoundness. While battling his war with malignant neoplastic disease, my baffle in law, his soul caregiver, was herself diagnosed with lung cancer in April 2002. This man did not let his illness take him over and move above, as he took care of my mother in law while traffic with his illness manger she died two weeks subsequently being diagnosed. He insisted on pickings care of her himself and did so with the help of hospice. I admired him for the love and devotion he displayed while pickings care of his married woman while battling this disease himself. In February 2003 my father in laws cancer had left him unable(p) to care for himself or live alone, so he locomote in with us. I remember we would sit on the porch while he had lunch, and he would tell me such incredible stories of things that happened during his life. I felt my relationship was stronger with him, and he judgement of me as the young woman he never had. He had fought for tail fin years safekeepin g back this cancer with multiple surgeries, Chemo, and radiation. Doctors helped him shinny this cancer as long and as hard as they could.
